Holiday lookbook: Spain edition

Hello Beauties,

Jessica here with my holiday lookbook from my trip to Costa Del Sol in Spain. Joe (the boyfriend) and myself stayed 7 days in a hotel called hotel Palmasol which was a lovely 3 star hotel. The area we stayed in was called Benalmadena, and I couldn't recommend the place enough! A big hit with Spanish families as a holiday vacation, there was so much to do from walking down the Marina to sunbathing at Carvajal beach which stretched out for miles (I know because we tried walking it and after 8 miles of following the beach, we gave up).

Unfortunately, our plane was delayed so by the time we arrived at our hotel we'd missed dinner! However, we found an open supermarket and brought some freshly baked bread with Alioli (the most amazing Spanish garlic mayonnaise); with Oreos for dessert and ate our meal on the balcony.

For days at the beach and sunbathing at the hotel pool I kept my outfits quite casual and 'easy-to-put-on' so I could just slip it off and on quickly over my bikini.

I would switch between these outfits while also alternating some basic shorts from New Look and a loose cami top from Asos.

During the evening we would enjoy walks across the beach and stop in all the shops and sample the cocktails and gigantic ice cream sundaes. We also went for an amazing meal at this American restaurant called Jacks which was divine.

The best seafood paella and sangria
We also had an action packed day going on a gigantic banana boat with lots of other people - where I managed to hold on 2 out of 3 times for only 5 euros! After this which lasted a while, we also had a go on a jetski; well Joe drove the jetski and I held on tightly holding on for dear life! After our fun day out we also decided to go out for another meal to try some paella and sangria; a little tradition we share. After spending ages deciding where the best paella was, we went to a restaurant called La Laguna, who were so sweet and even de-shelled our seafood paella for us!

Once we'd finished topping up our tans (or Joe's sunburn) we walked along the Marina just as it was getting dark. It was so beautiful and peaceful and most nights we would walk along and just sit on the rocks looking out.

Myself and the partner (Joe)
We both had a lovely time relaxing in sunny Benalmadena and would definitely go back there - despite me loving to go to new places! As I mentioned, the area is also recommended by Spanish who, when talking to the locals, said that it's rated as one of the best holiday destinations for families.

Talk to you soon,
